Description Condition: FAIR The soonest that you can pick up this item is September 11th. Pick-up is available by appointment only. Auction winners will be provided instructions to schedule a pick-up of their item(s). ---------------------------------------------------------- (5) Pallets of Metal Shelving from Everett Public Library. All shelving has been disassemble and will be picked up as-is. The photos don't really show how the shelves are designed to work. (1) the dividers fit into the slots to hold up loose magazine or whatever in sections. And (2) the outer (flat) shelves are attached to hold things upright; the shelves flip up to reveal the slotted shelves hidden beneath. The shelves can also be used without the dividers. These are surplus shelving components, not an entire shelving system. The library is still using the bases and uprights with our various other shelving components. Components are interchangeable. We no longer have a large magazine and government documents collection, so we no longer need those shelving components. These magazine and document shelving components are compatible with many standard library shelving systems. Prospective bidders are welcome to schedule an appointment to inspect the item. ------------------------------------------------------------ Pick-Up Procedures Pick-up cannot be made until the City receives payment from Public Surplus. To emphasize, the soonest you can pick up this item is September 11th. If you pay by September 7th, your pick-up window is from September 11th to October 2nd. Delaying payment will delay your pick-up window. Pick-up Instructions: You must bring personal identification, such as a Driver's License, to the pick-up location, or the auction item(s) will not be released to you. Successful bidders are responsible for packing, loading, removing, and transporting all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located. The Buyer must make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation of the property. Pick-up is available by appointment only.
