Rare collection of four Dee Flagg wood carvings depicting Wild West themes. These are especially notable because they were displayed at the 1964 New York World's Fair. The sticker on the base of the "Stage Robber" figure reads: "Formerly in the famous Foote western collection and part of their fabulous display on the Montana Centennial train at the 1964 World's Fair." Dee Flagg (1922–1999) was a well-known artist celebrated for his western-themed wood carvings and paintings. He was particularly recognized for his intricate, hand-carved figures of Old West characters and scenes, often created without power tools.
