2015 Ford Explorer Police 4WD SPORT UTILITY 4-DR 3.7L V6 DOHC 24V 138,626 miles Purchased new by Village of Versailles in 2015 and used in daily operations until retired from service in 2025 Vehicle had a few mechanical issues but has since been resolved. Battery will need replaced as vehicle must be jump started each use Transmission replaced in 2023 with a used transmission and mileage on current transmission is unknown. Small exhaust leak can be heard Vehicle shows cosmetic wear of scratches & scuffs on exterior and interior of vehicle. Not all can be seen in photos Lights & siren operational All Motorola Radio equipment has been removed. All other equipment in photos to remain. Tires in good condition Maintenance records provided to winning bidder Vehicle stored inside when not in use. Interested bidders are encouraged to inspect vehicle in person. Auction is restricted to Government Agency's, Law Enforcement and Fire Departments, with a restriction of LAW ENFORCEMENT. The emergency equipment is remaining in the vehicles and will not be sold to a civilian. Law Enforcement • A copy of their government issued departmental photo ID must be submitted to GovDeals. Fire Departments • A copy of the person’s government issued photo ID badge must be submitted to GovDeals. • Only in rare cases, such as a small volunteer fire department, will GovDeals accept a letter from the department on department letterhead. • Bidder must send an email to GovDeals explaining that the items purchased are for departmental use only and not for re-sale.
