This is a listing for a Thermo Nicolet Nexus 870 FT-IR Spectrometer - FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. Unit is in used fair cosmetic condition. Unit failed the power-on test and would not power on using either the test power supply or a direct DC power supply connection. The housing holding the beam splitters has a small amount of rust on the bottom due to past water exposure. Additionally, the sample door lock is broken and will not secure. This item is suitable for parts or repair by someone with the necessary expertise. Sold as is. The Nexus 870 is a highly capable research-grade molecular spectroscopy workhorse designed for advanced chemical analysis, polymer testing, and pharmaceutical research. This advanced modular system supports both continuous scan and step-scan functionalities with exceptional spectral resolution.
